The Original Houston Flamenco Festival was first held in October of 2012.  The Festival is a grass roots organization whose goal is to celebrate the flamenco arts in its purest form.  The Festival seeks to facilitate a cultural exchange between Houston's rich musical and dance community and the world class visiting artists that are the core of the annual event, through vibrant performances, workshops, and master classes.
The Houston Flamenco Festival receives the generous support of the Consulate General of Spain and is guided by Maria del Espadin, director of the Flamenco Foundation of Houston.  A portion of all proceeds will benefit The Flamenco Foundation of Houston, a non-profit corporation under the laws of the state of Texas.
